Little Miss Isabella came into the studio for her newborn portrait session and she was absolutely beautiful - she still is beautiful!
Her mum and dad are proud as punch and we planned a very minimalist pink and grey session, but no one leaves my studio without some absolutely precious white on white styling as well....
I love to see babies unique mannerisms as they pose their own hands and move in their own way. It's those little peeks of their personality that shine through a baby photography session and I love capturing those moments.
Yes, much of the session is styled to suit your favourite colours or the baby's nursery them, but the best part of newborn sessions is the star of the show, showing off who they are and how they moved while in mum's belly.
Their personality is already there, and has already been developing throughout pregnancy as the baby grows - now they are outside of the womb and we can see a little glimpse of how they moved and little habits they formed while on the inside.
Thankyou mum and dad for trusting me with your brand new, one week old baby, for her very first portrait session. Enjoy these memories of how tiny she is, because she will grow so much faster than you know!
