NEWBORN GALLERY
Gold Coast Newborn Photographer FAQ’s
-
The best time to photograph your newborn is between 6 and 14 days, but I photograph babies and children of any age.
The earlier you book, the better chance you have of availability when bub arrives. Once you book, we note your EDD on our calendar.
When baby arrives, please get in touch and we can adjust your session date accordingly.

Nothing, really! Yourselves and bub are the only important things to remember.
Don’t even un-pack the pram when you get to the studio, you won’t need it.
If you can, have a dummy/pacifier in your baby bag, they can sometimes come in handy.
The studio is stocked with nappies, wipes and coffee - we can take care of you, even if you forget something!
If you want to bring your own fresh flowers or heirloom items we can create something unique and special to your family, but otherwise, the studio provides all the styling, outfits, props and accessories.
-
Bub doesn’t need anything specific - I provide all the colours, wraps and props for baby.
I recommend a white, neutral or gently patterned, collared, buttoned shirt for dad.
Mum, I also suggest a white top or dress for you. If you literally have nothing that you can think of in your wardrobe (honestly, most new mum’s know this feeling, including me!) I have a selection of women’s outfits in the studio hat you can use.
My goal is to have you feeling calm, taken care of and as stress-free as possible on the day of your session.

Yes, absolutely! I think it’s the perfect time to feel a bit special! You definitely deserve some extra TLC right now!
I have a very lovely HMUA, Lucia, who does beautiful work and she comes to the studio.
You can see her work over at @goldcoastmakeupbyluciaHMUA is an additional cost and must be paid in cash on the day.
